The April Blackburn Branch Practice will be held at St Mary's Church, Gisburn (6 bells). Ringing from 3.30 PM to 5 PM, tea / coffe / cake, further ringing from 6.30 PM to 8 PM.

Jean Barnes’ funeral will be held at 1 pm on Monday 3 April at St Silas Church, Preston New Road, Blackburn, BB2 6JX. The wake will be held at the New Waggoners, Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5NS.

There will be open ringing from 11:30 am with a service touch of Grandsire Triples as Jean arrives at the church. There will be an opportunity for open ringing after the service as well.

Donations have been requested for the LACR BRF and can be forwarded to Susie at Helliwells Funeral Service, Stott House, Burnley Road, Colne, BB8 8LA.
